Hello! I’m Darin Carter, a senior visual designer with 12 years of experience in human-centered design, UX, motion graphics, and social media. I currently lead design initiatives at Sport Clips, focusing on UX design, brand development through social and email campaigns, conceptual strategy, and creating engaging motion and video graphics.

Previously at BuildASign, I served as a visual designer and art director, co-managing teams for high-impact projects and leading their annual 24-hour Createathon—an event supporting local nonprofits through rapid-fire design. I also developed and led a design internship program, mentoring college students through real-world creative challenges.

I’m also the founder and creative director of Hella Artsy, a growing platform that spotlights creatives across disciplines. What began as a podcast centered on conversations with artists has grown into a multi-format experience—featuring live panel events, curated pop-up shows, and community-driven exhibitions. Hella Artsy is a space for creative connection, mentorship, and storytelling, designed by and for artists.

Outside of design, I produce experimental music under various local labels and recently released an album with Left Field Division. I'm currently in production on a short film with Boulevard Films for the Cannes Film Festival. When I’m not working, I offer freelance design services for start-ups and small businesses—and most importantly, I love spending time with my wife and kids.
